Check website reputation

Enter a website address and ROSVIX will combine multiple technical indicators into a clear reputation assessment.

Enter a website to review its reputation indicators, domain history, connection security and network information.

Evaluate a Website Using Multiple Trust Signals

No single technical indicator can determine whether a website is trustworthy. ROSVIX combines several publicly observable signals to provide context that can help you evaluate an unfamiliar website.

Technical signals

The assessment considers indicators such as DNS resolution, connection characteristics, domain information, public IP data and other technical signals available during the analysis.

Email authentication signals

SPF and DMARC records can show whether a domain has published certain email authentication controls. Their presence is useful context but does not prove that the website itself is trustworthy.

Understanding risk indicators

Risk indicators highlight characteristics that deserve additional attention. Review the individual findings rather than relying only on the overall reputation score.

Reputation can change

Websites can be compromised, domains can change ownership and new threats can appear after an assessment. Recheck unfamiliar websites when circumstances change or before sensitive transactions.

How to assess website reputation signals

Website reputation should be based on several independent signals rather than one score. Familiar branding, HTTPS or domain age alone cannot prove that a website is trustworthy.

Signals to compare

Review domain information, HTTPS, redirects, DNS and other observable technical indicators, then compare them with the organisation and service you expect to reach.

Practical decision making

Consider why you reached the site, what information it requests and whether there is an independent way to verify the organisation before sharing credentials or payment details.

Important limitation

Reputation indicators are not a guarantee. Legitimate sites can be new, and malicious sites can imitate established brands or use normal technical infrastructure.

Example: deciding whether to trust an unfamiliar website

Reputation should not be reduced to one score. Review the domain name, HTTPS delivery, redirects, registration context, public contact details and the behaviour the site asks from you. A valid certificate is normal on legitimate sites, but it is also available to fraudulent sites.
